HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Chemistry Started in the Year 1970-71 Academic year with B.Sc CHEMISTRY in Tamil and English Medium and has been successfully providing educational service for the students in and around Namakkal District. In 2012-13, the M.Sc CHEMISTRY Course was introduced, followed by M.Phil and Ph.D. research programmes (both full-time and part-time) in 2014-15. Our department has the distinction of being the “DEPARTMENT WITH HIGHEST STRENGTH” since inception. The faculty members are well-qualified with strong academic and research backgrounds. Over 74 research papers have been published in reputed journals. Two UGC-sponsored and one TANSCHE-funded minor projects have been completed. Many of our PG students are employed in top chemical and pharmaceutical companies across Tamil Nadu.

HSC/+2 தேர்ச்சி பெற்றிருக்க வேண்டும். GROUP I - (கணிதம், இயற்பியல், வேதியியல், உயிரியல்) அல்லது GROUP II - (கணிதம், இயற்பியல், வேதியியல், கணிப்பொறி அறிவியல்) அல்லது GROUP III - (இயற்பியல், வேதியியல், தாவரவியல், விலங்கியல்) பிரிவுகளில் ஏதேனும் ஒன்றில் படித்திருக்க வேண்டும்.

முதுநிலை சேர்க்கை தகுதி

B.Sc (வேதியியல்) இளநிலை பாடத்தில் தேர்ச்சி பெற்றிருக்க வேண்டும்.

நோக்கம்

சிறந்த முறையில் கல்வி கற்றுக் கொடுத்து பட்டம் பெற உதவுதல்.

முதன்மை மற்றும் துணைப் பாட ஆய்வக வசதிகள் உள்ளது.

போட்டித் தேர்வுகள்

TNPSC, UPSC, IIT, NET, SET, CUET போன்ற தேர்வுகளுக்கு பயிற்சி அளிக்கப்படுகிறது.

வேலைவாய்ப்புகள்

அரசு மற்றும் தனியார் பள்ளி, கல்லூரி நிறுவனங்களில் மற்றும் மருந்து, உரம் போன்ற தொழிற்சாலைகளில் வேலை வாய்ப்புகள் உள்ளன.
