About the Department:

The Department of Business Administration has been established during the academic year 1990 - 1991 with under Graduation

Objectives:

To inculcate broad range of skills and activities related to the management and administration of typical business concerns.

 To develop awareness of the social, organizational, and professional ethics and issues in the society.

 To contribute and take active part in a range of commercial, industrial, and academic activities.

Scope of the Course:

Our students become entrepreneurs, executives in all Marketing sectors, HR fields, appearing Government Exams and proceed their higher studies like MBA, M.Com and other courses.

To provide value based quality education of global standard and to enable wholesome development of the students.

To enlighten the rural students with administrative and Managerial excellence with high ethics and values in order to make them as socially responsible citizens

DEPARTMENT ACTIVITIES 

1.  Dr. K. Premkumar, Professor & Head, Department of Management Studies from Muthayammal Engineering College, Rasipuram was the Chief Guest on 14.02.2020 and delivered a lecture on "Empowering Students to Higher Education".

2. Dr. P. Ganapathi, Associate Professor, Department of Management Studies from Muthayammal Engineering College, Rasipuram was the Chief Guest on 14.02.2020 and delivered a lecture on "Emotional Intelligence".

3. Mr. K.R. Amarnath, B.E., MBA., Bullion Fax Commodities Pvt. Ltd., Salem delivered a special lecture on " Stock Market an Overview and Career Opportunities" on 25.02.2020.

4. School visit to Kanavaipatti on 27.02.2020 conducted various events related with awareness about nonuse of plastic.

5. One Day Workshop on Hands on Training to our students at Selvamm Arts & Science College Namakkal about Mushroom Cultivation on 18.02.2020.

6. MoU was signed with Selvamm Arts & Science College, Namakkal in five departments - Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Botany, Bio-technology, Microbiology & Chemistry on 18.02.2020.

7. Dr. D. Kanchana, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Business Administration, Arignar Anna Government Arts College, Namakkal acted as a Chief Guest in Muthayammal Engineering College, Rasipuram entitled "Role of Digital Networking Sites in Marketing & Management" on 22.02.2020.
