About the Department:
The Department of English was established in 1968 and is one of the oldest language departments on the campus. Since its inception, the department has played a vital role in establishing its task to strengthen the English Language skills of the students from rural area. The Department grew to a Postgraduate department in 2013. The Department had the distinction in introducing Research Programmes, M.Phil. (Part Time &Full Time) from 2015 and Ph.D. (Part Time &Full Time) from 2015.
The Department is manned by a team of vibrant, competent and motivated faculty members. The crew is in a mission to demystify the second language syndrome by employing the up-to-the-minute techniques and methods.
