DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
HISTORY
- The department has established in the year 2012-2013 and B.Sc. Computer Science has started and functioning from the same year.
- The main objectives of the department have been to impart socially relevant education at under graduate level by judicious mix of practicality and theory. An adequate exposure to computer science knowledge is given to all the B.Sc., Comp. Science main and allied subject students. The course of study has been periodically updated and it was revised in 2012-2013 under choice based credit system. For effective teaching the department is equipped with modern teaching aids like Smart Board with LCD projector.
- Presently the department offers B.Sc Comp. Science programme with the faculty strength of six. The faculty members are actively involved in research and disseminate their findings through publications in terms of National and International Journals, books and presentation in Conferences, Seminars and Workshops.
